Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas

Fearless Love

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

On December 25 over 2.4 billion people will celebrate the birth of Christ. Jesus came to this world, not to bring us a religion, but a relationship with God. He came to us in the form of a human baby, in humility, to show us the path to love. Because God is love, we establish the following social norms:

🌟 Life and dignity of the human person.
🌟 Call to family and community. A person is both sacred and social.
🌟Rights and responsibilities to protect a healthy community and human rights.
🌟Care for the poor and vulnerable people.
🌟The dignity of work and the rights of workers.
🌟Solidarity to pursue justice and peace for everyone no matter national, race, ethnic, gender, economic, or ideological differences. To love our neighbor as ourselves.
🌟Care for God’s Creation. Be a good steward.

As a Latino woman who has faced divorce and violence, I am grateful to live in a country that embraces the teachings of Jesus.

This holiday, I wish you peace and that you may know the real reason for the season!

P.S. Christmas births hope and renewal. No matter what you’ve experienced or have done you are LOVED.
